For some years now, the villages in the Burford benefice,
have staged what can only be described as a unique event in
the dreamy surroundings of the Windrush Valley between
Swinbrook & Asthall. Held every two years,
Swinbrook
& Asthall Riverday
is a day
not like any other with attractions and events
such as:-

THANK
YOU
to
everyone who supported the 2011 event that was held on Saturday
25th June 2011 It was another unique day of fun with a great turn-out
regardless of the possibility of some 'grim' weather. It
stayed dry though - all day and night and a great time was had by
all.
We are in
the process of 'totting-up' proceeds and, in some cases, 'catching
up' on some sleep! As soon as we have a grand total, we will
let you know - watch this space!
This year both
Helen & Douglas House
and Springfield School
of Witney share our
donation - and...
.....we are happy to say that
we raised over £5000 on the day - Thank you!!
